Freebies | Mother's Day Gift Tags

Have you found the perfect gift for mom, but need a little something pretty to add to it? Well, here's a printable gift tag you can download! Simply print out on 8.5"x11" card stock, cut out, hole punch and tie on! The tags actually come in two versions, but you'll have to find out what the other one is after downloading it! 

I decided to go with a rustic look, tying the tag with raffia and added in some foraged flowers. You could even tie it with some ribbon, add a peony and have a completely different look.

Freebies | Thank You Tags

A couple nights ago I hosted a dinner party with some girl friends and I wanted to give them something to take home. I quickly illustrated these tags and now you can have them too. Simply score the tags in the middle horizontally, and staple onto a goodie bag. 

These would make for great little gifts to add to your Mother's Day gifting!

DIY | St. Patrick's Day Paper Wreath

To be fairly honest, I'm not one to celebrate St. Patty's Day really (even though my husband is part Irish). But today I have a super simple project for you that looks festive and makes for a nice addition in to your home!

Materials:

heart pattern

cardstock x3

wire

floral tape

glue gun

scissors

babies breath 

Step 1:

print out free printable pattern & cut out

Step 2:

crease each heart vertically

Step 3:

form a circular shape out of wire & cover with floral tape

Step 4:

start gluing creased hearts in random order with glue gun

Step 5:

tuck in babies breath in between the hearts

attach a small string to the back of wire & hang

Voila! I hope you guys enjoy making this project and maybe have some chocolate coins while you're at it!

There are certain mornings when you simply don't want to get out of bed.
When you'd rather stay warm under the covers, stirring up dreams that seem sweeter than facing the day.

But then there are also days when reality is the sweetest.

Days when I cheerfully get up earlier to pack my husband's lunch.
And slip a little love note under the stacked tupperwares.
Sway with him from left to right along with the slow, soothing tune that's playing in the background.
When we kiss each other goodbye for the day and I linger a little longer in the hug.

To others, it may seem ordinary, but I will forever treasure these moments.
When I find joy in the ordinary, I find joy - and love in life and others.

So here's a little reminder that you can also find you in the ordinary.
